All of these works are relatively new, done within the last 3 months.  It is a combination of using the figurative form by using paper cut-outs (from political voting materials and/or various magazines) to create a more three-dimensional element to my abstracts.  It's a feeling of coming in of and out of with the use of colors and textures.  There is a primitive feel to the works that is reminscient of cave paintings.  With these works, I wanted to exude a rawness that is emotional.
