Migration Study examines ways in which identity is shaped by
differences in language, gender, culture, desire, exile, solitude and
freedom. A study in cross-cultural mapping, the exhibit works to add a
new substance to multiculturalism in Los Angeles, exploring the human
form, human word and human home. The featured works, ranging from video
to photography, painting, performance and installation, take the
initiative of using cross-cultural resources to realize a broader form
of integration.
