Burlap - III
One oscillator (and 11 sub-octaves) stepping through 8 pitches in a phasing rhythmic pattern.

Burlap - IV
Two digitally controlled oscillators each programmed to match the pitch of the other.  This configuration results in a dynamical dance which appears cyclical but never repeats.

Each piece is a unique musical composition made up of standard CMOS logic ICs arranged in different configurations.  As shadows fall on different parts of the surface, each composition will reveal itself in different ways and respond by subtlety changing the progression of its melody.
