This is a painting show of abstraction that stresses expressive free-flowing color. Known chiefly (but informally) as “Flow,” it’s a mini movement that seems to be unique to the Los Angeles area. Art writer and curator Peter Frank has organized 2 or 3 shows of this particular painting style in recent years.
