Meeson Pae Yang

Meeson Pae Yang received her B.F.A with a specialization in Sculpture/New Genres from the University of California Los Angeles in 2002. After completing her education at UCLA, she studied Sculpture and Digital Design/Video at El Camino College in Torrance, California. Yang was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Los Angeles at age five. She currently lives and works in Torrance, California. Yang is a member of the Los Angeles Art Association, Gallery 825.  She has worked on collaborative installations with Tim Hawkinson and fellow LAAA artists. Yang’s solo shows include Angels Gate Cultural Center, The Loft in San Pedro, and Gallery 825. Her work has been shown at the Torrance Art Museum, Brewery Project, Phantom Galleries, and LA Artcore. Her work is in the permanent collections of Ace Gallery in Los Angeles and the Dallas World Trade Center. Yang is also a recipient of the Hans G. and Lordis W. Burkhardt Foundation Award and Beverly Alpay Award.
