PRICE LATIMER is a private art dealer and consultant specializing in emerging, contemporary and post-war art for private residences, collections and public/corporate spaces. Based in Los Angeles, the company offers a full spectrum of sales and services including site specific consultation, research, procurement, resale, auction attendance, art investment advisory, independent curatorial projects, commissioned work and installation, all with the budgetary and aesthetic objectives of each client in mind. Price Latimer received a B.A. in graphic design from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has also completed courses at Parsons School of Design in Paris and Brown University, as well as pursued studies abroad in New Zealand and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. While attending RISD, she worked in New York for Peter Halley and his magazine, Index. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2000, she began working as Associate Director of ACE Gallery, the world-renowned contemporary art gallery, which has maintained gallery spaces in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Vancouver, New York, Berlin and Mexico City since its inception in 1961. In 2002, she went to work for the innovative Italian furniture company, Kartell. There, she consulted with architects and interior designers to furnish everything from private residences and offices to distinguished restaurants and large-scale hotels. For two years thereafter, she ran her own P.R.
company specializing in creative public relations for the fashion, art and design industries. Over the years, Price Latimer has accumulated a considerable personal collection of contemporary and emerging artists; she has also consulted on and procured numerous artworks and commissioned work for private, as well as corporate collections.
